Approvals

Timesheet approvals that check every timesheet for you

Vuqira checks each timesheet against the hours you expect the moment it is submitted. The ones that pass can be approved automatically. The ones that do not arrive flagged, with the reason, so you only spend time on the handful that need a decision.

How the validation works

You set the hours you expect from each person, by the day, week, fortnight or month, and how far either side of that is acceptable. The tolerance is 30 minutes unless you change it.

Public holidays for your state or region are taken into account, and approved leave is not counted as missing hours, so a short week because of leave does not get flagged.

For example

You expect 38 hours a week, with a 30 minute tolerance. A week of 37 hours and 45 minutes passes. A week of 32 hours is flagged as 6 hours under, so you know what it is about before you open it.

Approving

Automatic approval

Switch it on and timesheets that pass your validations are approved for you.

Batch approval

Approve a whole set of timesheets in one go, or open them one at a time.

A reason for every override

Approving a flagged timesheet anyway needs a reason, which is kept with your name in the audit log.

Or ask the assistant

"Approve everything you can" approves what matches and leaves the rest for you.

Timesheets that suit how you work

People fill in their days on a calendar, with a timer, or by asking the AI Assistant. Timesheets are due weekly, fortnightly or monthly, or over a custom period you set. Leave is requested and approved in Vuqira too.

Once hours are approved they are ready to use: in reports on where the time went, and, if you use Xero, on a draft invoice to your client.
